Abraão David Neto

Abraão David Neto, nascido em 13 de julho de 1980, é pai, formado em odontologia pela UFRJ, filho do Ex-Prefeito Miguel Abraão, empresário e desde 2005 atua como Vereador do município de Nilópolis, lutando pelos direitos dos cidadãos nilopolitanos. A história de amor por Nilópolis começa com a chegada de seus avós Abrão David e Julia Abrão David ao Brasil, por volta de 1900, buscando melhores condições de vida em face de problemas internos e severos no Líbano, país do Oriente Médio.

Em Nilópolis, seus avós foram abraçados com muito carinho pela população que dava inicio ao loteamento da Fazenda São Matheus e, mesmo com dificuldades em aprender o idioma, seu avô Abrão David não esmoreceu e percorria a via férrea como mascate, vendendo os mais diversos produtos, por vezes de Ricardo de Albuquerque a Queimados, buscando dar melhores condições à nova família que aqui se estabelecia. Ao todo, Abrão David e Julia Abrão tiveram 9 filhos legitimamente brasileiros (Jacob, Miguel, Maria, Anice, Jorge, Anizio, Nelson, David e Farid), estabelecendo residência à Avenida Mirandela 34, e, diante do trabalho que desempenhou por anos a fio, por volta de 1915 abrem o seu primeiro comércio, o Armarinho São Jorge na Avenida Mirandela.

Desde cedo, Abraão David Neto aprendeu com sua família, em especial com seu pai, Miguel Abraão, a necessidade de retribuir à Nilópolis tudo de bom que o município proporcionou àquele casal que aqui chegou em 1900. Acompanhou de perto dois momentos importantes na trajetória da cidade: O governo Miguel Abraão (de 1983 a 1988), ainda criança, e já como homem formado o primeiro mandato de seu tio Farid Abrão (2001-2004), despertando ali a vontade de fazer mais pelo povo e pela cidade, o que o levou a concorrer ao cargo de Vereador Municipal nas eleições de 2004 e eleito com 2509 votos, uma votação altamente expressiva para colaborar de maneira importante com o segundo mandato de Farid (2005 a 2008), como Vice-Presidente da Câmara Municipal.

Lutar pelo povo é uma herança de família. São os laços dessa família que nos unem em prol do progresso do município. E é neste caminho, imbuído de corpo e alma em trabalhar por Nilópolis, que Abraão David pauta sua vida, trilhando os passos de seus As, Tios e Pai.
